On Wednesday, October 13, 2010, Mattel threw a surprise book launch party for designer Robert Best to commemorate the launch of 10 Years: Barbie Fashion Model Collection Book. In attendance were many of the key players who helped bring the Barbie^® Fashion Model Collection to life a decade ago, and who have been instrumental to the collection’s success over the last 10 years. Among them, photographer Paul Jordan and set builder Lars Auvinen who have helped capture Barbie^® in her many exquisite and extraordinary incarnations as the world’s most stylish and chic fashion model.
