Make-A-Wish: Season of Wishes
Los Angeles FOX affiliate Fox 11 covered a wish granting ceremony at The Grove in Los Angles where Mattel and Barbie partnered with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to grant the wish of 6-year old cancer patient who dreamed of “everything Barbie.’ Holiday Barbie made a surprise appearance and with Stephanie Cota, presented Mariah with a Barbie necklace, A Barbie Bike and a closet full of Barbie products.

The Top 10 Everything of 2010
Barbie went geek this year after a fan vote ushered in a career change for the 51-year-old Mattel doll. Computer engineering is the 126th career for Barbie, who now sports a neon binary code t-shirt and totes a pink laptop and smartphone — accessories chosen for her by the Society of Women Engineers and the National Academy of Engineering.

America's Nightly Scoreboard
The “America’s Nightly Scoreboard,” panel discussed the one-of-a-kind Janet Jackson Barbie, noting the doll is being auctioned off for a Los Angeles charity. The Scoreboard panelists expressed excitement for the doll and concluded “Buy.”

The Barbie Collector Mad Men Dolls are featured in the December print issue of Glamour Magazine in a gift guide section titled ’40 gifts that wont be re-gifted’ as selected by Jonathan Adler. Gift guide is also posted online at Glamour.com.
