Bonjour, Doll-istas! Have I got a treat por vous. Oh so recently I had the pleasure of chatting with the one and only Robert Best. He gave me insider access into the fabulous world of the Barbie^® Fashion Model Collection. As you know, the collection’s theme for 2012 is “atelier,” and these dolls are dressed to thrill!

Can you believe it’s already been one year since Prince William and Catherine Middleton tied the knot? The happy couple will reportedly celebrate their first anniversary in private, at their home in Anglesey.

They're the passionistas…  the fashion fans… the people who love a doll that came to represent so much more in the lives of millions of people across the globe! The stories of a dozen Barbie collectors are captured here – watch, and you may find you have more in common with them than you ever imagined.

To celebrate the opening of California Design, 1930–1965: “Living in a Modern Way" at the LA County Museum of Art (LACMA), we're taking you "behind the scenes" to get a glimpse of the new exhibit and two of its shining stars - the original Barbie^® and Ken^® dolls! The exhibit also features an original 1962 Barbie Dream House, which Lisa McKnight (VP, Barbie Marketing) lovingly calls "A mid-century mecca of design in doll size."

Barbie Loves FNO! Five designers from the Council of Fashion Designers of America participated in an event-within-an-event, The Ultimate Fashion Hunt. Rocking New York City during 2011 Fashion's Night Out, fashionistas tracked down one-of-a-kind Barbie dolls from Alexis Bittar, Alice + Olivia, Loomstate, Tracy Reese, and Rogan.
