On weekends, Ken® doll likes to take Barbie® doll for a drive in the country. Dressed in a yellow knit pullover shirt with khaki fly-front slacks, he “grabs” his car keys (“K” monogrammed ornament and 2 keys on a chain) and is ready to ride! Striped socks, brown shoes, and a red cap completed the ensemble. (The shirt is shown with red trim and open neck in the 1961 Mattel catalog and an early Barbie doll television commercial, but none have been found on the market.)
