Joie de Vivre™ Barbie® Doll (African American)
Designed by doll artist Marirose for the 2008 National Barbie® Doll Collectors Convention, Joie de Vivre™ Barbie® doll wears a rather famous fashion inspired by Paramount Pictures’ 1957 musical comedy “Funny Face.” The ensemble consists of a red satin gown with tiny bows on the turn-down bodice and at the top of the train. The ultra-chic accessories include a chiffon scarf, opera-length white gloves, sheer hose, red sling back high heeled shoes and a magnificent set of faux “emerald” and “rhinestone” jewelry.
